Medical Service on Holidays
What do you do if you suffer sudden stomach pains, fever, or sports injuries during a holiday, but you are not serious enough to call for an ambulance but warrant a check-up by a physician?
Please refer to the article titled "Emergency Examinations" in the city magazine, Koho Hachioji, which is published twice a month, on the first and fifteenth of the month.
Addresses, telephone numbers and a map of the medical institutions which offer services on holidays from 9:00AM to 5:00PM are listed in the article. One gynecology clinic, one surgery clinic, one internal medicine clinic and three internal medicine/pediatric clinics, all members of the Hachioji Medical Association, are open for service on holidays.
The emergency examination service has been growing step-by-step since its establishment in 1969. It is our sincere desire that the citizens of Hachioji will not abuse the emergency services but continue to use them wisely.
Please also refer to the emergency medical institution home page (in Japanese).
